Network Security Engineer

Job Duties

Working with Azure Cloud services, including VNets, VNet Peering, Network Security Groups, PrivateLink, Azure ExpressRoute, Azure Private Endpoints, Azure User Defined Route Tables, Resource Manager, NSGs, Private DNS Zones, Azure Internal, and External Load Balancers. Designe and configure Azure Virtual Networks (VNets), subnets, network settings, DHCP address blocks, DNS settings, security policies, and routing. Configure NSGs for two-tier and three-tier applications and integrated on-premises servers with Azure. Deploy and manage applications in Datacenter, virtual environments, and the Azure platform. Expose virtual machines and cloud services in VNets to the internet using Azure External Load Balancer. Configure IPSEC VPN tunnels between Cisco and FortiGate, and FortiGate-to-FortiGate devices using IKE pre-shared keys, 3DES, and MD5. Implement Intrusion Detection and Intrusion Prevention technologies. Manage Fortinet Firewalls, configuration of FortiGate 3600E, 2500E and 1100E series as per network architecture. Troubleshoot and diagnose daily issues relating to HSRP, VLANs, WLAN's, EIGRP, Etherchannel configuration, port errors, and etc. Work under supervision. Travel and/or relocation to unanticipated client sites throughout USA is required.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/ IT/IS/Engineering (Any) or closely related field with Twelve (12) months of experience in the job offered or as a Network Engineer or IT Consultant or Analyst or Programmer or Engineer or closely related field.

Experience

Experience of Twelve(12) months of working with Firewalls or Network Security is required. Travel and/or relocation to unanticipated client sites throughout USA is required.
